Application Description

Aepryus Graph is a science program for plotting functions. This function visualisation application is easy to use, small, quick, enables visualisation of a high number of functions, and renders 2D or 3D plots that provides a clear view of a function. It has a easy syntax that allows you to use addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, negation of operands, and power of two operands. It also includes pi. It has predefined functions which include sin, sinh, cos, cosh, tan, tanh, sec, csc, cot, asin, acos, atan, ln, log, exp, sqrt, and abs. It allows 1 to 3 input variables and 1 to 3 output variables. It even has a screen saver you can use in windows and allows import/export.

The main window that opens up has Create (2D Cartesian, 2D Polar, 3D Cartesian, 3D Cylindrical, or 3D Spherical), Delete, Plot, and Animate buttons. Across the bottom there are tabs for entering your function. The contents of the tabs change depending on what you are creating. The General tab is where you choose dimension (2D or 3D), enter a description, and enter notes. The Function tab is where you enter the x, y, and z coordinates. The Domain tab is where you enter Start, Finish, and Steps for x and y. The View tab is where you choose coordinates (Cartesian, Cylindrical, Spherical, or Polar), Set View, Enter Range (Start, End, and Grid of x and y), Choose to have colors (for Function, Derivative, Axis, Grid, Background, Choose Surface, Light, and Net), Choose to use Square scale or not, and Look. The Time tab is where you enter Start, Finish, Frames, Target fps and has buttons for reverse, stop, forward, record, and repeat.

This program is so easy to use you don't have to be a mathematician to use it. It would be fun to play around with to create different plots however it's intended purpose is to be used as a science utility. If you have used some of the high dollar mathematical programs and found them either lacking the plotting ability or find them too complicated to use.
