Hot Folder Printer is dedicated to quick and simple images printing.
Just drop one or several images to the apropriate folder (Hot Folder) and they will be immediately printed.
You can also print from other computer if you share Hot folder in your network (by SMB(Netbios), FTP, AppleTalk, etc).
If you can't for some reason use standard windows printing features (desktop printing), then this program is also for you.
A number of image types are supported: BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, MNG, ICO, PCX, TGA, WMF, WBMP, JBG, J2K.
Version 1.2 features:
1. hot folders adding, removing, modifying with user interface
2. default printer parameters modifying
3. changeable scan time for hot folder scanning
4. fit to page printing
5. comprehensive algorithms for bitmap resizing
6. supported file types: BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, MNG, ICO, PCX, TGA, WMF, WBMP, JBG, J2K
To start program use your start menu or desktop link. Then press 'Add...' button and enter hot folder path and select desktop printer (all other parameters will be set automatically). Press 'OK', you will see new hot folder record. Press 'Start' button, you will see that hot folder status is changed to 'Working' (if entered path is correct). Now you can copy files to the selected folder. After you copy file to the folder, program will scan it during at least two scan periods to determine that file is fully copied and then file will be printed (additional time may be consumed for picture resizing).
