ICO to BMP is a icon editor for copy and view some program Icon's .ICO to BMP is a simple program which written by the author to solve a very simple problem: "I needed a simple way to copy and view some program Icon's from Windows for use with documentation for teaching and to edit for use in Web Site design." The user can open the following File Types: icon, cursor, bmp, gif, and jpg files. Once the file is open it can then be saved as a BMP file which maybe edited with most graphics editing programs, and converted to other usable graphics formats for any variety of projects. The program runs using few resources so it is possible to keep it open while working in other programs. Registered copy includes special icon lib. and more.
This easy-to-use yet very powerful program was developed by the author exactly on that purpose! This tiny program does the great job creating bit map files which maybe edited.
ICO to BMP opens the following file types:
*.ico files which are program icon images
*.jpg files which are photo type bit map images
*.bmp files which are bit map images
*.cur files which are program cursor images
*.gif files which are web page bit map images
After ICO to BMP opens the file, you can save it as a BMP file in order to edit it with most graphics editing programs, or convert to other convenient graphical formats for various purposes.
ICO to BMP (2.0) allows you to copy the BMP image to the Windows Clipboard to paste it into some other program. ICO to BMP features do not include the ability to extract icons from DLL files and convert bmp files to icons. There exist a variety of other programs capable to do both of these things, but very few of them open ico files directly! ICO to BMP is a very simple way to get what you need!
